LMS Notes adds a note-taking system to LearnDash courses, lessons, topics, and quizzes:
- Per-content notes — students create notes attached to specific courses, lessons, topics, or quizzes. Notes stay organized by where they were taken.
- Export to PDF and DOCX — students can export their notes for offline study.
- Tagging system — tag notes with comma-separated labels for easy filtering.
- BuddyPress integration — notes appear as a tab on BuddyPress profile pages.
- Instructor view — instructors can access and manage all students' notes.
- Multi-LMS support — also works with Sensei LMS, LifterLMS, LearnPress, and TutorLMS if you ever switch platforms.
- Shortcodes — [lcn_notes] for custom pages, [lms_notes] on specific LMS components, [lms_instructor_notes] for instructor views.
Notes are paginated for large collections and support search and filtering. The note icon can be customized in color and animation.
