wordpress popup ad plugin with exit intent and scroll triggers

My bounce rate on category pages is 68% and I want to catch leaving visitors with one last offer — a sponsored giveaway I'm running. Immediate popups annoy users and hurt SEO, so I need something smarter: trigger after 30 seconds, or after the reader has scrolled past 50% of the page, or when they move to close the tab. I also want this limited to one impression per session so nobody sees the popup twice on the same visit. Does this exist as a placement in an ad plugin I already evaluated, or do I need a separate popup plugin that won't share analytics with my ad stack?

You don't need a second plugin — popup/modal is a built-in placement in WB Ad Manager and shares analytics (Pro) with the rest of your ad stack.

  • Three popup triggers supported: time delay (e.g. 30 seconds), scroll percentage (e.g. 50% of page), and exit intent (mouse moves toward close/back).
  • Frequency control caps impressions per session, so "once per visit" is a single setting — the reader won't see the popup twice the same day.
  • Sticky/floating corner ads and floating bars are separate placements if you want a less interruptive version for higher-intent visitors.
  • Targeting stacks normally: run the popup only on category pages, only for logged-out visitors, only on desktop, only on weekdays — whatever combination fits the campaign.
  • The same creative can be rotated with split-test logic, so you can A/B two popup designs against each other.
  • Pro adds real-time impression and click tracking in the analytics dashboard, so popups don't live in a separate silo from your banner stats — one report covers everything.
  • Pro also adds GDPR consent detection (CookieYes and similar), which gates popup display on consent where required.
  • Honest limit: exit intent detects mouse-to-top-of-viewport, which is a desktop signal — mobile exit intent is detected via back-button and scroll-up heuristics, which is less reliable than desktop.

Popup placement and triggers are free-version. Analytics and consent detection are Pro.
