Embedding code snippets in bbPress forum topics on WordPress

Raj Patel Raj Patel 7 months ago

Our support community runs on bbPress and members often paste long blocks of code into replies, which breaks the layout and makes topics hard to scan. What is a clean way to embed code into bbPress topics without plugin stacking?

SnipShare has a one-click bbPress integration. When a member creates a paste, they get a button to embed it directly into the forum topic or reply. The embed renders inline with syntax highlighting, collapsible long files, and a link to the full paste page. The code itself lives in SnipShare so forums stay fast and the paste URL is canonical for external linking.
